Brand new start! Good old days!

Alright! It's been a long time since I blogged. Last I remember, I had Naruto layout and was complaining day and night about how intolerable university life is.

Yet, looking back at the good old days, I can't help but to miss all the rushing of assignments and staying up late at night, hanging out in the dance studio. Sure, it was tiring having to juggle between studies and other commitments, but there is always a sense of satisfaction at the end of the day after the submission of school assignments or a superb performance.

Funny how we often complain and dread the busy schedule amidst the preparation period. Long hours of practises just to put up a short three to five minutes performance. Seems almost unfair, one might say, but that's how life is. Aching muscles, coupled with sleepless nights when assignment deadlines are close sure made tertiary life seemed unbearable.

But from where I stand now in the working world, it was neither dreadful nor unbearable, but instead, pleasurable. I guess its true how we don't learn to appreciate something until its gone. And even though we know this all along, it doesn't sink in until we truly experienced it.

If I could turn back time and relive the past, I would probably do things differently; be braver in my decisions and going all out while my youth last. Hmm... somehow the last statement made me sound rather old and tattered.

How well, life goes on and I need to move on. This blog marks the new beginning, a milestone in my career as a teacher and towards a greater understanding of myself.

As John Cheever, an American novelist puts it:

"When I began to write, I found this was the best way to make sense out of my life."
